Subdivision for Geiger Grade Approved

We realize this is old news as the article is from February 6th, but the Reno Gazette Journal reported that Washoe County Planning Commission approved a 56 house subdivision on Geiger Grade.

“The Washoe County Planning Commission unanimously approved the tentative map for a new residential development southeast of Reno on Tuesday evening.

The Bailey Creek Estates project is a 56-lot, single-family residential subdivision being proposed by Silver Crest Homes on nearly 30 acres of land by Geiger Grade Road and Shadow Hills Drive.

The approval is just the beginning of “long, drawn-out process” that could take months or even years before the new project is finalized, said Commissioner Larry Chesney.”
