After finding himself in the crosshairs of our attention one time too many, Mustang Ranch Brothel Owner, TRIC Executive, and Storey County Commissioner Lance Gilman is suing Sam Toll, editor of The Storey Teller. We have set up a legal defense fund to pay for court costs and legal services.
You can see the complaint against us at the bottom of the article we wrote here.
We have hired two expert lawyers whose experience includes successful defense of the First Amendment and arguing in The Nevada Supreme Court. We are actively raising money from people who support our efforts.

Thank you for your support. Together you and I will make our county a better place to live.
Good luck Sam.
You are standing up to a dirty regime. I commend you for that, and you have my support.
I am not sure if Bum Hess is still bussiness partners with Lance Gillman, but I would bet the ties are still there.
Several families have had controll of Storey County for many years. Many have stood up against this dirty regime and paid dearly. I hope you aren’t discouraged by this, and continue to stand strong and expose those that are abusing their power just because they can.
I would be glad to contribute to your defense.
Thank you Eric. I appreciate your kind words. I will keep the light of day shining on the things that need it. Commissioner Carmona’s election will be very interesting. He ran on being an outsider and a communicator. Let’s see if he is an outsider or just another company man. I’ll be looking for some help with the expensive documents Gilman’s attorney is making us print for the upcoming hearing. Stay Tuned.
