January 16 Commissioner Meeting Recap – BardeBlog

Nicole Barde of The BardeBlog has her usual on point recap of the latest episode of the Storey County Commissioners meeting held on January 16th. Many of the items were perfunctory and thus boring.

What was interesting to me was the discussion of the County Manager’s Job Description. There continues to be a conversation of the writing of the rules without application to the guy whose butt is in the seat.

The meeting contained the great news that the Community Chest has secured the final donation that will prevent them from having to incur debt. I will be producing a series of stories on the Community Chest and what they do with and for the good people of Storey County.

Great read and commentary.
