I have lived in Storey County a long time, back when DelCarlo was Sheriff but Conforte then owner of the Mustang Ranch was the boss. Everyone bowed to Conforte. His madam was even a county commissioner. Our Sheriff department was a joke and continued being a joke until Antinoro was elected to Sheriff. Now a certain faction move into Storey county and proclaimed RICHES FOR ALL STOREY COUNTY RESIDENTS. But first let’s get our cronies elected onto the Board of Commissioners then find a like minded person to be Sheriff, someone who will turn a blind eye to activities in the North.
Some people in Lockwood area seem to be easily swayed by big talkers. Remember how Blake Smith / Corde Vista had them convinced he could stop their flooding problems and give them a grocery store to boot. Blake Smith and his attorney Mark Amodei (yes that Mark Amodei) fought the rest of the county residents in court. Amodei called us ignorant because we didn’t want 5,000 more residents with schools & playgrounds built ontop of the land where rocket fuel & other hazardous materials were tested and they had no idea where the water for that development was going to come from. We were so ignorant that we won. Now it’s time for us to ban together again and get rid of all of these factions. We have an elections coming up. Let’s work together to find 2 new commissioners (maybe a woman or two). If we work together we can make this county really great.
I resent Lance Gilman & his puppet Kris Thompson moving into my community poisoning the well. We as a community will fight you every step of the way.
